  1. Going through the calendars, unless I've missed something the only one I can find in the 80's with a Sat/Sun 10th and 11th July is 1982 Chris Plant sold up mid 80's didn't he?
  2. sure some were played but it was mainly dancers. Great floor at Queens hall.
  3. You will have to excuse the quality as they were done on my iPhone although they do sound audible. I will upload the other three part as time allows.
  4. oh Andy Rix and/or Rob Thomas the original owners of this and the first to play it.Sure Andy will comment if he's reading but there is another topic or tow about this.
  5. It'll be Willie Hawkins & Rose Marie McCoy. The original acetate is a Beltone one. Few dubs knocking about.
  6. I would prefer an update to the Bootleg Guide he put out some years ago, dedicated purely to boot etc and not incorporated in with the price guide. Still it's a great resource with some invaluable information in there.
  7. Just found a flyer for Bradford, two dates one either side. Both have the main room and then in the other room one night 60's Rare and other Modern....one side has a little damage

I know nobody said otherwise Nev, just giving my opinion. And you're right again, if you like it that's all that matters, your money after all. Don't expect all to like what I buy.

there's far better records to play out than this. It's ok and nothing more IMO. sacred four - somebody watching you - champ
  11. There was a copy of the Tastiest Hits for sale on here couple of weeks ago...
  12. think the yanks have cancelled the show due to drugs and sex, they feel they have to protect their kids
  13. You wouldn't get mine for £60 Dave (if I was selling that is).
  14. He's played it on and off for over ten years. If I remember rightly we put it on a charity cd of his that we flogged at the Dome back in the early 90's.
  15. Andy Dyson occasional spin. I keep telling him to play it out more. Great record!!
  16. It's at least £75 now, thats the price of last copy I saw and it's a bit of a toughie to get too.
  17. 10 out of 10 for trying Russ, reckon you'll be waiting a while for this, no one wants to part with this monster.
  18. It's a boot and it's beenproved not to be Audrey Matthews and more than likely Sharon McMahon who wrote the record.
  19. According to the liner notes of Andy Rix Eddie Singleton had no knowledge of the Hem release at the time. It is assumed (again according to the notes) that the masters were left at Edgewood after Shrine's demise and someone took them to the local Hem label that had Atlantic distribution??
  20. Porgy & The Monarchs - My Heart Cries For You
  21. well most still listening to what they listened to 35 years ago and silly clothes no longer fit so other than that nowt changed

I presume you are selling these records? Usual practice is to put them in the actual post with a price or offers or some other clue for the rest of the members.
  23. Clara Hardy is one off acetate. There's half the record in refosoul. Tommy & Derby's is due for release by Gary Cape anytime soon.
