Charles Mann - Hey Little Girl
is this the same Charles Mann? Charles Louis Domingue was born Nov. 22, 1944 in Welsh, Louisiana. As a youngster he would sing along while listening to the radio and later in life joined the church choir. At 16 he joined a local band, Ricky and the Hound Dogs, singing rock & roll and South Louisiana Music, now known as Swamp Pop. Later, he joined the group, The Electradoors, from Gueydan, Lousiana. In 1965 their first single, "Keep Your Arms Around Me," was recorded and "Charles Mann" was born. The single became a huge regional hit which was soon followed by several others.

I've one track on my PC called "Think About It" from a Soul Sauce comp (vol 3) of Dickies. Dunno if there is anything in the sleeve notes about him, I'll have a look when I get the chance.

Trotter's Mansfield
Some great times there, fab soul night. Used to run mini bus from Chesterfield for a while too. First place outside of Chesterfield I Dj'ed at. One of the funniest moments was when the two old dears behind the bar (forget their names but they were great) threw Pete Lawson out for some misdemeanour

Mello Souls
Not much to add to that Andy. Steve Green met Silus in a nursing home if I remember rightly. They did at least one other 45 on Candi. One side is Silus Phifer and the Mellow Fellows and other is Edwin Johnson and the Mellow Fellows. I put it in refosoul but getting error message at the minute, if can't sort will repost them.
