  7. in the comments it does name some of the dancers... Sandy Holt, Julie Bebb & Co bringing back fab Mr M's memories and great to see the vid as it features lil ole me dave formerly of horwich now in carlisle, sandy holt and johhny burke cant remember the girls soz , the film was for the omnibus programme BBC we filmed it in manchester during the afternoon then on to the casino in the evening, cant believe i had all that hair and It's definately Sandy with the double belt. The black guy is Caeser and I think the other guy is Keb (not sure). The two girls in the background are (I think) Julie (black hair) and Sue Hollis, both from Rochdale. Happy days. It does say after that it ain't Keb, maybe Jethro.
  8. I use download helper (firefox plug in), one click and it downloads the file, same for audio. It only downloads as an flv file though so have to convert. Then I use I tunes for the ipod.

  18. I would agree with you Pete, it is a great Northern dancer but he can't sing, he makes George Lemmons sound good
  19. Didn't the first two come from same source? that's what I was led to believe, and also he has a few???? Rumour or is there any truth in it? Whatever, it is still a very rare record.

or if you mean Contessa - I Need Your Love - Laz Bar it's a one off as far as I know. Don't know who owns it now.

It was me who asked about him Dave. Glad to know both Dawn and Nick doing well. Hopefully he will make it up to Lifeline in the New Year.

considering I don't send cards Just think if the boot was on the other foot and someone sold you a carver of a cover up and you find out it is off a cd...you wouldn't be very pleased if you are totally honest, I wouldn't be. But at the end of the day the worst thing you can do is post a sound file of a record covered up on here, it will be uncovered in no time, as you found out to your cost.
