it would probably be computer technology that would make it stand out as a boot. you would probably have to replicate the materials and processes from the 60's to stand a chance of pulling it off. The vast majority of fakes in any collecting market get found out.

Dunno if already mentioned but te Lenny Curtis boot seems to fetch decent money when sold.

John and the Wierdest do come up for sale now and then. Saw one not too long ago. It is pretty rare though with the date stamped on it.

I remember the Eddie Foster, mentioned it earlier, couldn't remember the others but there wasn't many done of each if I remember rightly, John will confirm one way or t'other.

does that include the multicoloured Sam Fletcher? I thought they were pretty rare with just a few of each done?

The multi-coloured oot of Sam Fletcher and Eddie Foster (?) must be the rarest. Bobby Bennett - Alone With My Tears boot must be pretty rare too, forget the label

That'll be the Edwin Johnson who was also in the Mello Souls probably. They had a release on Candi, one side credited to Silus Phifer and the Mellow Fellows and the other side to Edwin Johnson. Both sides are in refosoul.

dunno bout that pal, I posted a load of sound files on the Rare Soul Forum for Sean Doyle t'other week that Sean wanted identifying from a tape from the 80's, all covered up and this was one of them, thats what jogged the memory

How does the ad work in selecting what appears on soul source? from what i've seen of it no real bargains in it just the popular stuff most who use ebay will have seen anyway.

what would you charge for the same record in vg, vg+ & NM? for the sake of arguement it costs £350 nm/m.

if it's only vg then it should be more than £50 cheaper than a minter IMHO. I know most sellers don't use goldmine grading etc but they say a vg record is worht just 25% the value of a near mint one and for a vg+ 50%.
