whats the record....might save someone spending unnecessary money, then the owner might shift them at a reasonable price.

This Weekend`s Finds,
Agreed great record, will have it's day one day. One I've spun out the odd time. Hope this files better? Ken you need to record and save Wav and then convert to MP3, or save straight to mp3 if you can. Qulaity will be better cause reducing a wav to the size your posting will compress quite a lot and will lose a lot of quality in the process. Luke_Day___Love_Lines___Renfro.mp3

Identify This Please A Butch Spin
I personally think it's superb, nothing complicated about it. He doesn't play it often enough though not heard him spin it for a while.

Best Ever Dj On Northern Scene
I'll might play a few oldies just for you at Hitchin Winston in September Only one for me Butch, been doing the business for over 20 years when records are and have been harder to discover and "break" to the dancers unlike the 70's etc when records were plentiful and many could be thrown to one side as there was many more waiting to be played ansd discovered

Are Records Getting Cheaper?
maybe the three records you've mentioned Paul have been over priceed in recent times and just coming back down to a more realistic price
-
Are Records Getting Cheaper?
Big records going cheaper....Just the other day Sensations - Demanding Man juts over £900 in poor nick, have seen for less on e-bay in the past in better condition cause it wasn't as well known. I reckon £1200 to £1500 min ngood nick so the one on e-bay not that cheap really. Demand will always be there for records whilst there is still a scene. I'm not suggesting anything Dan, never mentioned a quantity, it might just be the odd record that they think will get a re-activation in the near future or one they ahve just got nin thsat has started to gain spins so they hold it for a while until demand is greater.

Uptown Label
Sugar Lumps - Won't You help Me, uptempo girl group I've spun a few times.

Are Records Getting Cheaper?
Ask yourself why it's fetched $150 and $200? It's a £50 record, tops, hardly in demand and not that rare so why does some one pay these prices? Bit of homework, biit of searching and I bet they could have got one from a dealer at a more realistic price, the same for many records that are sold on e-bay. E-bay not a true reflection of the actual price of a record IMHO, just shows the lack of knowledge in some cases and the must have mentality of some buyers.

Are Records Getting Cheaper?
Can you back that "fact" up Dan? most dealers I know have larger mailing lists than ever. Too many dealers can't afford to hold onto records as they have to turn them over to get the cash flowing and don't have the resources that many larger dealers do and therefore have to let them go cheaper than they would like. The larger dealers can and do hold onto records because they can see the price for some rising in the future not falling. Many records are sold without even being listed so you don't always see the whole picture. Maybe some buyers have suddenly started to do their homework
