Anyone Know What This Record Is
Bobby Bennett awesome beat ballad IMO Pete. Only a handful of originals. There is a boot though, can't remember if it's Jamacain or Canadian boot. There is also a look a like boot, our friends in LA I think.

Four Vandals
Oh no they wouldn't

Hamilton Movement
BTW I think it should be a grand. Know of one sold last few months for that. In fact it was sold pretty easily.

Hamilton Movement
Let me know how the detective work gets on About 25 of these turned up, all from same source. Admittedly most went to DJs and probably the reason why it got heard so much. If you think the record is bad you should see the photo of the group

Four Vandals
I forgot, it was someone on the radio saying what happened. He was doing an appearance at a night club or summat like that I think.
-
James Brown - Money Wont Change You
Deffo had plays in the past.
-
Four Vandals
Reminds me of Petula Clark too
-
Four Vandals
I agree Tony, the backing and the vocals don't even sound like they belong together.

Four Vandals
- Mill Evans
It's been around that price for some time now.- Four Vandals
He (Steve) is that good, he was booed off stage t'other night , not once, not twice but three times forgot the words as well He also said according to the radio that skeletons in his cupboard will ruin his career I bet his career doesn't get off the ground, he'll sink faster than the titanic Still a million quid ain't bad I suppose for a Karaoke singer- Christmas Overkill
- Wanted: Hi Lp
It's a re-issue LP (UK) from the 80's. Brilliant record, always reminds me of the 80's and the 100 Club. His "I Can't Go On" (Smash) worth a listen too.- Old Flyer 1979
Unfortunately hardly kept flyers, they were mailny used for writing titles and phone numbers down on Got some of Allanton, Rob Marriotts events, Guys, some Stafford ones (including the darts teams hero Dobie Gray ) Busy really until mid next week as a way with work so can't do anything untill then but will try and dig something out.- Patti Austin: Wanted
Brilliant record IMO from one of the best female singers of all time. Great voice for someone so young- I'd Think It Over
Agree lots of stuff that are rare, unissued etc are op0nly played because of that reason and not for the quality. Post the clip tho'. Will have another listen- I'd Think It Over
What ever it is, it is IMHO a very poor version. If it was a tenner I doubt very much it would be played at all.- Soulful Kinda Music Website
Well done Keep it going Dave, great site for info etc.- Karmello Brooks - Tell Me Baby
Played by various DJ's over the years. Lots of spins @ Stafford and throughout the 80's. - Mill Evans
