  1. One of the best records that that I've heard recently. Just bought a copy, It's Awesome & I can't stop playing it. It travels to work with me in the car every shift on my player. If it was Ultra RARE, who knows what price it would fetch? It's a brilliant Tune and its Not going to break the Bank at the moment, Shivers down the spine etc as I Post. I Love it. It transports me back to the day when I first discovered this wonderful music. Ain't Nothing But A Houseparty / What Can A Man Do ?? = YES, got that. Heartbreaker ? Somehow I missed It first time around. Shame on me.
  2. Had a listen Bob and as I suspected they are different.
  3. Fond memories of this, it takes me back whenever I listen to it. The thrill of buying it originally. Magic. This is the DIRECTION copy I bought way back.
  4. I have seen different Label Variations for other releases. Inez & Charlie Foxx Including a Stock Copy of above but without the White DYNAMO. Just Black & Red Label. This Stock Copy on Vinyl took some finding I guess that there might be a White DEMO for this with Lines etc.
  5. My copy is the same design as the one that Mark has posted. I bought it from Soul Bowl in the 70s. First Stock Copy that I have ever seen. Popsike.com
  6. The White DEMO on Vinyl has the "STERLING" STAMP. on the Original. It was Booted as you are aware. The only Stock Copy that I have seen is on STYRENE and doesn't have the Stamp
  7. Don't think it is the same. However, I will compare them tomorrow when I get home from work.
  8. As already said Mick, here's the place to ask about records, Sharing Information etc.. Breaking Point / Luckiest Girl In Town

  10. Very Sad News. R.I.P. KELL
  11. >>> Tamla_Motown 700 Onwards <<< Means quite a lot to me, as way back in 1969 That's the period of time I woke up to the Motown Sound. I had already bought a copy of "Stevie Wonder - I Was Made To Love Her" I suddenly realised that my sister had a copy of "What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted" on the then mysterious "Tamla_Motown" Label. Asked her if I could have it, flipped it to find "Baby I've Got It", over the moon to own a copy I was Immediately hooked. Then came The Marvelettes "Reaching For Something I Cant Have / Destination Anywhere" It was 1969 and I was already chasing other deleted records from this Amazing Label. I spent many happy hours scouring various Second Hand shops in search of this new (To Me) sound, & what a Learning curve that was.

  13. >>> Tamla_Motown 600 Series <<<
  14. Many throughout the world have championed our music. A few years ago I posted regarding the people in the UK who were behind the releases from the 60s/70s. I had a reply at the time but before I had chance to collate it, sadly most of that Information was lost due to a glitch in the system. Here's another Thank You for setting me out on this Incredible Journey of Discovery. Who were the people behind the scenes of the recording industry, who brought these fantastic records to our respective shores. The French Picture Covers & Record are Incredible to find and collect. Dutch Picture Covers & Record, another source for collectors to feed their collection. Here in the UK for Instance the "SOUL SUPPLY" logo. but, Who do we thank?
