Cover-up

That sleeve leaves a lot to be desired...

Talking of using the same stampers, I picked up a spare copy of "Nothing But A House Party" by The Show Stoppers (on UK Beacon) and was surprised to see it had "Mastered by Frankford / Wayne" in the run out grooves, along with a different (presumably US) catalogue number. Didn't know they used US stampers to make UK pressings???

Ah, the infamous xxxrecords. They get insane prices for very average Uk records. Also famous for use of CAPITAL LETTERS and putting things in bold... Hmmm, can't see it would make any difference what speed you back-cue at. Vinyl records don't suffer from cue-burn. Styrene records do. That's about it really... You occasionally get styrene records which hiss the whole way through, or in certain passages or in one channel. Then again, you get styrene singles which look utterly battered and play perfectly.

How many ways ARE there of bringing up a weekly ORIGINALS v BOOTLEGS thread...
