Bert Bailey, Courtial, Some New, Further Reductions
Some nice things for sale to fund a want. Strict grading as per SS guidelines. Might accept near offers on some of these, so don't be shy. Thanks for looking, Carl (N.B. Youtube clips are not from actual records for sale, just for orientation) Bert Bailey & The Jets - If I'm Right 7" on Jet Set. Barbados sweet soul. VG++, £85. Courtial - Losing You 7" on Pipeline. Best track off the LP, very tough on 45. VG+ to VG++, nice copy with a few surface lines. £100 9th Creation - Much Too Much 7" on Hilltak. Rare 45 in strong VG++ shape. £40 Nelta Wyatt - Step Right On To Love 7" on Ice/WIRL. Sweet/crossover soul from Trinidad I think. Hard to grade this. I call it VG but it's probably as clean a copy as you'll find, however it's pressed on recycled vinyl and has some built-in crackle. Labels are re-used as well. Playback is similar to the Youtube clip. £45 Powerful People - (Little Girl) Say Yes 12" on Epic. Breezy modern track that sounds close to Jesus Alvarez or Willow Band. VG++, £15 Kenny Rankin - In The Name Of Love promo 7" on Columbia. This is the superior first version. In The Name side is VG+ with some minor surface marks and plays great. Uninteresting flipside clicks for about 15 rounds in the beginning. £100 Teddy Pendergrass - You Can't Hide From Yourself b/w I Don't Love You Anymore. Very rare 7" on Dutch PIR. Record and pic sleeve are VG+, few and light marks only, plays fine. Asking £55 (made $182 on Ebay earlier this year). Time Spectrum - Slide Into your Heart 12" on Kwesi. Excellent modern soul/disco dancer! M- copy in shrink. £70 Touch Of Class - Love Means Everything 7" on Midsong. VG++, £100 SOLD Clifton Dyson - I'm Giving Up 7" on QS (red/white label). M-, £25 SOLD Sonny Jenkins - That Friday Pay 12" on Stout. Rare NYC disco that's been comped. VG++ to M-, lovely copy. £110 SOLD

Thanks for looking, Carl Courtial - Losing You 7" on Pipeline. VG+ to VG++, nice copy with a few surface lines. £125 Touch Of Class - Love Means Everything 7" on Midsong. VG++, £115 Teddy Pendergrass - You Can't Hide From Yourself b/w I Don't Love You Anymore. Very rare 7" on Dutch PIR. Made $182 on Ebay a few months back. VG++ to M-, lovely copy. £125 Clifton Dyson - I'm Giving Up 7" on QS (red/white label). M-, £30 Four Below Zero - ESP 7" on P&P. Rarer first issue with different (better IMO) mix than on Roulette. VG+ to VG++, nice copy with few & light marks, plays fine. £90 ON HOLD Kenny Rankin - In The Name Of Love promo 7" on Columbia. In The Name side is VG+ with some minor surface marks and plays great. Uninteresting flipside clicks for about 15 rounds in the beginning. £125 Alice Clark LP on Mainstream ("Don't you Care", "Never Did I Stop Loving You" etc.) Record is M-, cover nice VG++ (the lightest ring & edge wear). £160 Ian Willson - Straight From The Heart LP on Ian Willson Music (incl. "Four In The Morning"), M-/M- in shrink, slight warp NAP. £50 Time Spectrum - Slide Into your Heart 12" on Kwesi. Excellent modern soul/disco dancer! M- copy in shrink. £70

Kadillacs For Offers, Dunn Pearson Jr, Kenny Rankin, Time Spectrum Etc
Selling a few nice records. I think the prices are fair, but feel free to make offers if you like. Grading as per site guidelines. Starting with one for offers: Kadillacs - Hard Times Bad Times/Wayward Woman 7" on Stone Soul. Great and very obscure funky northern track, definitely stands out. Visual grade is conservative VG to VG+, it's a bit scuffy but there are no feelable or particularly ugly-looking marks. Plays fine as you can hear on the full soundfile below (had to split the side in two parts but the full track is there). "A" written with ball pen on Hard Times label, sticker on flipside label. Not much to go on in recent time, so decided to put it up for offers starting at £130. part 1: https://www.divshare.com/download/24158765-f84 part 2: https://www.divshare.com/download/24158771-27d Kenny Rankin - In The Name Of Love promo 7" on Columbia. In The Name side is VG+ with some minor surface marks and plays great. The boring flipside clicks for about 15 rounds in the beginning. £150. Dunn Pearson Jr - Groove On Down 12" on Shyrlden. Rare 12" with long and short versions. Nice VG++ copy. Disco bag has some seam splitting top & bottom. £110. Time Spectrum - Slide Into your Heart 12" on Kwesi. Excellent modern soul/disco dancer! M- copy in shrink. £90. Channel 3 - The Sweetest Thing promo 7" on Dakar. Beautiful M- copy. £120. The Albert - LP feat. One Life on Perception. Record is VG++ to M-. Cover is VG+ with 4 cm split middle bottom edge, otherwise nice. £40. PM if interested. Paypal only. Thanks for looking, Carl

I really like this album, esp "Along Came Belinda" & "One Bad Habit". Lots of nice sweet soul tracks with a particular lyrical edge!

Alice Clark Lp, California Playboys Lp, Freedom Updated And Reduced
Selling a few nice pieces. Strict grading as per Soul Source guidelines. Alice Clark - S/T LP on Mainstream. Needs no introduction, just a brilliant record full of album only stunners. Record NM, cover VG++ (very light ring and edge wear, looks really nice). £175 California Playboys - Trying To Become A Millionaire LP on Loadstone. Very rare record with the modern dancers "She's a real sweet woman" and "Just say a four letter word" plus the sweet soul track "I've got to find myself another girl". Lucy Stone - Giving Love Instead Of Gold Now Sold
SOLD! Have a copy of Lucy Stone's "Giving Love Instead Of Gold" on Fire Mountain for sale. "Giving Love" side is M-, looks like it's been played just once or twice, sounds superb. The crappy flipside track "If Somebody Needs Somebody" has a horizontal scratch that causes one brief skip in the middle, but I doubt anyone on here would want to hear this side anyway. Clean labels. Not sure what to ask for this, don't think there's been many copies around recently, so looking for offers over £150 or a nice trade. Will keep it open for a few days or until I receive an offer that I can't resist. PM if interested. Thanks for looking, Carl

Smoke Sugar Company On Teri De
Thanks Bob, the copy I got is thick and unflexible. Have no reason to suspect it being a boot, but didn't feel quite right, for whatever reason. Seems like a weird record to bootleg though, if that were to have happened.

Smoke Sugar Company On Teri De
Anybody know whether Save A Little Love For A Rainy Day on the first plain Teri De label has been booted? Got a copy in the mail and got suspicious for some reason, but couldn't say for sure. Thanks, Carl

Family Tree On Anada
I'm selling Family Tree - Family Tree on Anada 7". Great 70s dance track from Sharon Brown. Record is a very strong VG++ (as per site grading). Would be M- but for one light surface mark (about 1,5 cm) on long version that doesn't affect playback at all. Sounds loud and clear. Long version label is clean. Short side label has an "x" and a sticker. £130 including shipping (or near offer). An extra £5 if you want it registered. Paypal only. Relisted due to timewaster. Thanks for looking, Carl

20 Rare Soul Funk X/o 45's Joseph Henry/crystal's Image/deltones Ltd
17) Deltones Ltd — You don’t believe I love you/Stay (Plut) Ex £12 Sold for over $200 last year and this is the rarer coloured vinyl, I think the buyer did not realise this was a recent reissue (A bit like all the confusion over the new numero 45 box set) more recent price is about £30 so a bargain buy here ! Surely this (the A-side I mean) was unissued until this 45, making this the first issue?

Paramount Four - You Don't Know Etc (Southern City)
Flip is lovely sweet soul, very much in the Impressions vein.
