    It’s been a while since we welcomed Carl and Maria Willingham to CULCHETH but we are pleased to say that they are ‘back on the road’ and heading to CULCHETH on SATURDAY JULY 2nd. As regular guests at both LOWTON CIVIC and CLUCHETH, Carl and Maria have always brought something special to their sets, featuring everything, from the absolute rarest of the rare, through to current floor fillers and a few surprises, just for good measure. In accordance with Sue’s wishes and supported by husband, Peter, a night of Rare and Underplayed Soul Music will be held at Culcheth Sports Club between 8pm and 2am on Friday May 27th, the 2nd Anniversary of her passing. The night is a celebration of Susan’s life and the music she loved. Anyone who knew her is invited BUT numbers are limited and therefore ONLY people on the GUEST LIST will be allowed in the venue. Susan was a regular ‘face’ on the scene, dancing across the floor at many Northern and Modern venues, which earned her the nickname ‘Skippy Sue’. She’s is fondly remembered as the girl who took literally everyone’s photos at the venues she visited, with thousands of the photos she took over the years, saved on a Soul Source ‘Gallery’ As a ‘thank you’ and a show of love and respect for Susan, the following DJ’s will be playing in two rooms at the event;- Bob Hinsley, Robbo, Kev Murphy, Phil Threlfall, Baz Maleedy, John Weston, Sean Haydon, Col Kidson, Jes Jones, Kev John, Dave Cartlidge, John Gallagher, Michael McShane, Colin Wood, Dionne Murphy, Paul Hamer.
