The lovely Jumping Joan and her top bloke Tony introduced me to it when they were kind enough to let me stay at their home many years ago. Had some great, great, fun times-thanks for that..Loved this record (both sides) first time I heard it.. Got one for thirty five quid shortly afterwards when it was relatively unknown..

The missus and I were there also (as you know) Although sad, it was a most unusual heartwarming funeral. Dave would have approved. And "Working Class Hero" was apt, don`t you think?

That`ll be the Anvil in Sheffield-which was one of the few council owned cinemas in the country at the time- and yes-he was the manager. He let me in for free a few times. Like myself he had a great love of the cinema-Gone With The Wind was (i think) his favourite.

Agree with soulmanash The O`Jays put out quite a few crackers but "I`ll Never Forget You" and "I Dig Your Act" stick out for me.

Agreed. The original was never pressed at Monarch Recording of Los Angeles. However the original should have what looks like a very fancy (and small) capital B stamped on both sides.

I`ve just sold something that went for £56 on eBay. They charged me £2.00 just for listing it. I try to save cash by starting the listing at 0.99 and putting a reserve price on. (minimum reserve price is now £50 ) Only listing the item in one place with just one photo. All these little addons that eBay encourage you to use to "have a better chance of selling your item" is just hogwash in my opinion to get more cash out of the buyer. Dunno what other charges they`re going to slap on me.
