  1. I have a 10'' acetate of a 70's track that is familiar but I cannot recall who it is by. The acetate is unfortunately an instrumental version, the issued record I seem to remember had a strong male lead vocal to it. Any help/information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Pat
  2. Adrian Filing your records is great topic for debate. Alot depends on how many you've got but for me I file mine by city/region that way you can keep labels together, therefore I have New York, Detroit/Motown, Windy City, Philadelphia, West Coast, Southern States shelves as well as shelves headed up as Deep Soul, 70's Soulful dance, 80's Independent Soul, UK label, Major label. Whichever way you cut it there will always be certain records that could go anywhere so I've got a misc section aswell. Lp's are just straightforward alphabetical, 12's haven't got round to it yet. Enjoy sorting 'em Pat
  3. I was in Ben's Records, Guildford today and telling Ben about the topic on Ian and how admired he is on the scene. Ian and Ben go back a long way. I've bumped this so that Ben can read all about his old mate. Pat

Well the postman didn't bring it but I got a hand delivered Bernie Milton Also on Friday my missus was waiting for a birthday cheque from my aunt, she collared the postman on her way out saying anything for us, our chirpy postie immediately delved into to his sack assuming she was asking about a vinyl parcel (I've got him well trained) and produced - Bobby Jones & New Life - I Am Somebody. The Gregory Peck arrived today. Pat

  25. Lee Fields - Tyras Song / Take Me Back, recent comments on this record always refer to the Angle 3 release. Anyone have the one on A&T Records. Flipside being You're My Weakness, which was also issued Angle 3 ? I would assume this is a rarer local release ? Pat
