I got my copy from Dave Withers, who had it covered up. But can't remember what the cover name was. Met Tee Fletcher a while back but he didn't have any copies. He told me the group were managed by a local Atlanta lawyer, but todate have failed to find him. I think Dave got it from Richard Searling?

Soulful House
As far as I know it never came out, apart for a boot white label. But I'm sure someone will tell us different. It was from a whole LP that was being done over here with him, but never got finished. I got it from the producer as an mp3, but the quality isn't that good. But will give it an airing at Soulshakers on March 10th

Wigan Casino - A Question
You could get alot of people in that club, main room, Mr M's. The lobby just before M's could hold 60-70 on it's own. I can remember one nite there so many turned up that they stopped people coming in the main venue and opened the Beachcomer all niter. Most of the main room DJ's went down and did a set there as well. Rammed as it was for anyone of the last nights, could well have been 2500-3000 in

Dt Lable From Detroit ?
This is the obituary I placed in Manitesto for the family just over a year ago Dennis Tally - Detroit Dennis Tally died earlier this year in Detroit from a heart attack. He will be best remembered, to most around the world for his D. T. record label. Which had a host of modern soul classic releases, such as Forth Day, Emanuel Laskey, The Magnificents and Executive Suite, to name but a few. But to the Detroit music scene he will forever mean so much more. He was a powerhouse of a man, always ready to help anyone with a new project. Young new artists, producers and label owners would beat a path to his door, to get his assistance, often for free. He truly believed in the essence of the Detroit music scene and would work on any project that furthered the musical cause of the city. Even at the last, he lay in hospital discussing the new projects he was working on, and what he was going to do, when he was fit again. Dennis was married to Detroit soulstress, Darlene Love who he also recorded on the D.T. label. Darlene says "He was my life, we we're inseparable". When Darlene speaks of him and his achievements, she always does so with such pride. Dennis was also a great friend to many from the UK. Always ready to help in finding those elusive records and missing artists. It is people like him that have made Detroit so much more of dynamic music city than most, and his mere passing will not diminish his enduring spirit. -Dave Thorley
