I've just contacted Amazon to complain about the 20% price drop a week after release, and they've refunded me the difference. Don't know if that's because I pre-ordered at the higher price, but I'd get in touch and get them to give you a call back.

I listened to Solar Radio all day on Monday (7 til 5). Used to listen to Jazz.fm until they stopped broadcasting outside of London, so now it's normally the iPod, the Cocktail Audio, or a bit of internet radio. Spent a whole day last week listening to some of Pete S' podcasts, followed by Ian Levine.

You're welcome. By the way, Freda was spelt Frida on one of the discs when I downloaded the album info on iTunes. Had to drop a star for this. PS Not impressed that the price has dropped by almost £12 since I bought it off Amazon. PPS Fifth star re-instated since being refunded the difference by Amazon. Less than £50 for 14 CDs! Nice one.

I wouldn't be surprised if the big retailers, Amazon probably being the biggest, would have asked Universal to supply more box sets when they sold all of their initial allocation. This may have prompted Universal to press more copies of the so called Limited Edition. Universal should have just left it at 2,000 sets, but probably wanted to make more money. Let's see if they keep it to a limited run for Volume 2.

Find it strange that the promoter "offered the venue", as though it was his to offer. I thought that would be down to the owner.
