The Harold's got it all - a warm welcome & fab, friendly atmosphere; great sound system with request-friendly DJs - if they've got it with them, they'll play it for you! There's a top-notch dance floor with absolutely no need at all for talc; bar prices at WMC rates; 2 car parks - both with monitored cctv - & good transport links. It's situated on the main road, with easy access from Chain Bar Roundabout, regular busses from Bradford, Brighouse, Leeds & Huddersfield & it's also close to Low Moor train station. There's even a nice hotel (The Guide Post) less than 10 mins walk away for those who fancy making a weekend of it! We tend to limit numbers to 120 max in order to make sure everyone has a seat & also a space on a not-too-crowded dance floor, so please be early to avoid disappointment. Can't wait to hear what new tunes the DJs have been splashing their cash on! Thought I'd been around for long enough now for there to be hardly any more surprises left for me, but every month they never fail to throw in a new curve ball that makes me prick my ears up! Plenty of my old favourites played too, but it's definitely not the same old same old at The Harold....🎧 🎵😉

I've just binge-watched A Cruel Love on ITVX - about Ruth Ellis, the last woman in England to be hanged. Definitely recommended - it's well worth watching - she should never have faced the death penalty at all.😢
