Well my mate is originally from Bolton , but moved there about 20 years ago and yep , he’s a biker .... but I did manage to get him to Wigan a couple of times and taught him some moves . Now loves his soul music more than his rock. I’ll check out the restaurants you mentioned next time we visit ... thanks for the heads up bud . Hiya Steve ... yes all good this end bud , hope your summer has gone well and enjoying the good weather . Wow , far better pic than mine . My first time in Ludlow , but what a beautiful town. Got a mate that lives close to there in Much Wenlock , so stayed with him and his misses for a couple of nights before pushing off to Frodsham and another mates for the rest of the Bank Holiday . And thankfully a good journey both ways ... which makes a change. Going to go back for the Food Festival ... oh and a few beers .

A patch that doesn’t show up much for sale and a patch with some great history also - re Blackpool Casino . As for price - it’s difficult one as it’s whats someone is prepared to pay , and prices are lower than they’ve been for a while.

Original floor and carpet from the Highland Room . Each piece as stamped ... and as sold off at the time the demolished the building at £10 a pop .. This guy bought all of what was left over ... and there’s quite a lot .... be nice see it put down somewhere but not sure at the price they have put on it . Maybe I.L. would buy it .

Just got back from a long weekend in Prague . What a stunning city. A real pleasure to walk round and take in all the sights . A £12 travel card gets let’s you move around the city on all forms of transport for 3 days, even the funicular railway. Also managed to included a trip to the biggest record plant, which was once a dusty communist factory, GZ Media has tapped vinyl’s rebirth to become a £76m outfit pressing 25m records a year.

Union Chapel in Islington is showing it on Wed ‘ 8th May ... with a performance of a live Gospel Choir . Should be good

Just wondered if anyone had any info on this copy . I can find lots of Demo versions on ABC or versions with a different flip side .. but not this one . Not a great sound I know , just interested in finding out a bit more

Personal opinion , but I like “ Out on the Floor “ and lots of other Dobie Gray stuff.. Sounds I don’t like are Gwen & Ray “ Build your House “ and as others have said , “Afternoon with the Rhino” - “ Condition Red “ But hate ... don’t like that word .. Blossoms in Capel Manor last weekend . Do we need to go to Japan ... maybe but it does make you feel good to be alive

And the garden full of ruins , well , they can all be bought and rebuilt in your stately mansion for maybe the cost of a couple of copies of The Sweets .
