    Remember speaking to him on the phone at the end of the 80's and he was living in croydon,he had been off the scene and was missing it back then. He had just come back from the states and had 2 copies of dena barnes and the illusive Yum Yum's on ABC. Had agreed a price of £25 for it, he did'nt like it and did not value it, however, he changed his mind after realising its potential value. Think mick smith ended up with it, not sure. SHEEP

Certainly rare, without the raraest uk northern release.I have had my copy some 33 years, it was a junk shop find at 20 pence, did not play it for about a month after buying and nearly sold it before realizing it was an instrumental, yes mine has a white sticker with a serial number 001. mr Ian Clark is selling his copy offers over £750, i can let you have contact deatils if needed.     remember it as don folger, could be wrong. First heared about this record via blues and soul back in the early 70's, it seemed to get mentioned every week, so someone was playing it then. When I eventually got to hear it some years later, thought it was an excellent beat ballad, and a good choice as a finisher. SHEEP

  16. This is not meant to upset anybody, but perhaps most of the rare soul fines over the last 30 years have probably come from norfolk, should we rename it norfolk soul.! SHEEP
