  2. have been playing out "your my mellow" edwin starr. the reason for posting this topic, i would say that i am small event dj, ive always in the past done warm up spots just to get myself heard, over the last 2 yrs i have been getting bookings around the local clubs and now im now being asked on a regular basis if i would like to dj for which im grateful. i do think i am different and do have my own style,inventive,personalty,etc i am in reality an oldies classic collector and dj, oldies being underplayed re-activated 45s, hence the questions and thoughts of you good people for some more ideas russ

    cheers adam, did check out jm site, i have a old jm sales list which featured some other junior releases,but not this 45, which on wdj format are of higher value than there issue prices, hence info russ

    hi all, got this though the post with some other bits purchased from the states; the sensations featuring yvonne baker - "its good enough for me" junior 1002 wdj copy mint- nice early 60s dancer with great vocals from miss baker. can anyone help regards value of this 45, dont see it very often especailly on a white demo format cheers russ

    sorry just had to answer this one, and no disrespect to any dj, promoters etc right, got my cd box, bootlegs, vinyl carvers, reissues, etc plus my one and only original - interplay on orange rca yes ready to go, need say no more but the 300+ crowd love it........theres your answer paul russ ps, before anyone asks its a joke regards interplay, original etc

  21. hi jock, yes flip side "love hangover" does play a little distorated, i bet you plays nice n loud, i was led to believe that there were only 500 copies produced on s.barnes sunflower DETROIT label, features in j.manships rarest of the rare, going rate £150.00 dependant on condition when i play it out always get someone coming up asking who the singer is, i dont think it gets played much nowadays russ

  23. fair comment tone, maybe a little quick of the mark i like the lindsey version and also billy butler, but jean carter as the big production and a little more uptempo imo. so were was it recorded ? interested as sunflower label, oakman blvd, detroit mich russ
  24. out last night got talking to a old mate of mine, who couldnt wait to tell me of his latest ebay buys. don ray - born a loser - rca issue; buy it now $2.99 what he forgot to tell me was it cost $300 p&p no some people have all the luck any other ebay bargains folks? russ
