  1. I had my first proper record case from there, still got it but it's cut in half now to make two smaller ones.
  2. Still see Atlas & Elaine now & again, Roz lives in Australia & I havent seen the others far years Cheers Crumb
  3. Yeah, that's me, bloody hate piercings now though. You used to go in the Antelope didn't you?
  4. Yeah that's the shop I was on about, didn't know it was owt to do with Keith though. I used to sneak off work when I was bored and go in there to talk to Phil Oliver, would have been about 76 - 77. Is it later than this when Keith had it?
  5. That was more of a musical instruments shop, there was another round the corner that specialised in soul.
  6. Yeah, I'm far too young to have gone the Rank exept on a Saturday morning. Wouldn't have thought Atlas, Doris or Blondie went either. You're not likely to see Blondie about, unless you're in the Philippines.
  7. Can't remember Keith running this shop but I know Phil Oliver used to manage it, can't remember who owned it though. A couple of doors away from a pub called The Sealion wasn't it?
  8. Cheers
  9. What's this one, 1st or 2nd issue?
  10. Ay up Nick I've got "Having A Good Time" by him on M.I.T.S. I think it also came out on Fraternity, don't know owt else about the label though.

I put a piece of cardboard either side of the record with a label sized hole cut out.

I've improved records using this method, but I've also ruined a few. I think it's better to have the oven on low & leave it in for longer than to have it too high. I left Bobby McClure in once & forgot about it, it came out flat but had shrunk to about 6" diameter. Good luck.
  13. Yes, but the forgers had got the original moulds, that would be like the bootleggers having the original stampers. And even then they were caught out because the colours weren't an exact match to the originals.
  14. Remember when Ant Connors locked him in for his own safety cuz he was barbed up, so he jumped out the window & broke his leg
  15. OSCAR McLOLLIE?
  16. Paid £50 for an issue last December if that's any help.

I did wonder if it was him but then decided it wasn't, you could be right though

I was in the pub with Nick last night & he didn't say owt about it. I think it's Radio Stoke's most popular show so I don't think it's likely.
