Following last week's sale of an unplayed copy, I found this and sold it to another soul sourcer 20240113_151715~3.mp4 who wanted the unplayed copy. This rates as VG+ with some tiny marks on the A side. The buyer returned it as he says it sticks on his deck. I have attached photos of the labels and the marks + a video of it playing perfectly on my Technics 1210. My deck was purchased from Pete French and set up as per his instructions! Just been chatting with a 'top' DJ' and we were discussing playing originals and the conversation came around to ' my styrene copy is getting a bit worn' should/can I play a reissue if I have the original with me and put it up for validation? Records discussed were Del Larks, Joe Matthews, Tamala Lewis ( think this is vinyl but can't get to mine at the moment to check) etc. Thoughts please. Some of these are getting expensive!
