Thanks mate. Always more exciting releases in the pipeline. A double sided Linda might well be another winner! Sean

I wasn't going to mention that Pete. Thought it might be one of Neil's attention grabbing techniques. Sean

Give Me One More Chance/anyone Can Tell - Clyde Mcphatter
Nice one Neil. We went with 'Anyone Can Tell' as the top side, as it's a track that's growing in stature everywhere! A real beauty. Along with the classic flipside, the first time on 45 anywhere in the world, this could be the biggest selling Go Ahead release yet! An essential purchase! Cheers, Sean

Unknown Artist On This Acetate
Think the inflated price must surely have been down to the lack of info from the seller and the lack of knowledge by the buyer. Seller thought he was selling an unknown and buyer thought the same. Sean

Randy Brown - I Was Blessed The Day I Found You / Parachute
This was an LP only track Mal. It's on the 'Intimately' album from '79 but was never on a 45 to my knowledge. LP here, being sold by Glyn Thornhill. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RANDY-BROWN-Intimately-Parachute-Promo-LP-70-s-Soul-/111083909214?pt=UK_Records&hash=item19dd1df05e Sean

Soul Children Lp Hold On I'm Coming
I don't believe that this title exists as a vinyl LP Philippe. It's a 1997 compilation CD of old / 70's Stax tracks. Are you sure its on vinyl? Best regards, Sean

Unknown Artist On This Acetate
Aha! I've just flipped it and it is Simon, yes. So, there's no difference whatsoever then! Sean

Unknown Artist On This Acetate
OK, in the mix, it's identical to my ears.... the only exception is the Acetate goes on for another 90 seconds or so longer than the issue. The issued 45 is 2:34 - The Acetate 4:00mins +. The last 90+ seconds of the acetate drops down in tempo to walking pace. The issued 45 maintains its uptempo throughout the entire 2:34. On balance, pretty sure I wouldn't pay the extra £300+ for 90 seconds of down tempo 'over matter' Sean

Mighty Bub's Playlists
Someone sent me this old pic recently, with Bub in his Mobster attire. A bit of a rogues gallery here (and long before political correctness was deemed important). Left to Right; The 'Mighty' Bub - Johnny Bruce - John Benson - Sean Hampsey - Poke - Alan Senior We did wear some funny clobber back in the day! Sean

Bobby King, If You Don`t Want My Love, Wb 45 Value?
The Bobby King 45 is very scarce. Took me years to get a copy. Couldn't resist a spare when I saw it recently. I did sell a copy of it for £100, last month. Yes, at the time we were playing it, it was considered an LP only track. So £100 as a minimum. Cut Glass 'Alive With Love' is my old Cleethorpes / Clifton Hall spin. No idea what it's worth now, but it cost me 50p from Lincoln market (though that was 30 odd years ago)! Sean

O'jays Time To Get Down
Hi mate, It's 'Shiftless, Shady, Jealous Kinda People" - same as on the issue and the US copy. Good record it is too, in the 'Backstabbers' vein. Hope that you are well too Peter. I haven't forgotten that I owe you something! :0) Cheers buddy, Sean

O'jays Time To Get Down
Fully agree. One of my all time favourite records. Bought it as a new release after hearing it at my local Soul Club, the Charade in Rotherham. Took me a few months to track down a R/W Demo, but I did, eventually, and no matter how many records go through my hands its one I'll never part with. Absolute class. Sean
