  1. True, but it was very naughty to make them and not tell them 😀 and of course as it was a tax scam the companies made money from the US government and could have paid something to the artists (oh am I being moral ?)
  2. I believe that some of the artists did not even know the records had been manufactured and did not receive any royalties
