I think that was a later Boot (Pale blue label). There was another variation on ebay this week. Plain white Promo Label , no GSF Logo...but tooth edge ring around the label. Text style is similar to the s Fame label output 45s on Candi staton...Its in the post so will upload a scan soon.

A favourite of mine in the 70s was Soul Symphony-Sons of Moses. Over the years there have been other issues under different names of the same track both in UK & USA. Six feet Under, Hammond Brothers & Maggie comes to mind.. see below one I have not seen before, which has the same index number as the Le-Cam -Charay release..It look like a late 70s issue. Anyone know the full story or order of releases. Apologies if it has already been discussed.

The one on John Ms tube is not the one i recall. This one was a Printed RCA label and studio information was typed in.

I recall seeing a 7" RCA studio labelled acetate that Jonathon Woodliffe had in 1977/78 , not 100% sure it was genuine. it looked the real deal but It was along time ago. Wonder where that ended up..?? Anyone.?

only one Real copy on Popsike sold back in 2004 for £665. Always loved the simplicity of the production.

Seller confirmed Text is Silver... only a skilled engraver would be able to replicate the typeface style, not a bad effort but it does look scratched in rather than machine stamped.

Seller has withdrawn the record for the moment. In order to have an expert take a closer look.

I was lookking forward to this event and went in specially to Rough Trade Nottingham to purchase the latest Modern Soul Box set. Was told they thought they had sold out, but couldn't tell me how many they had received, and they could not order any. Had I not bought the Colemine LP box set it would have been a wasted journey really. Also noted in recent months that their Soul CD section is being neglected with few if any new releases. No wonder we are turning to on-line shopping.
