Roger banks never got enough credit imo.. Thru the late 80s and 90s at venues like the Wilton.. He had some exclusives but continually broke and played cheaper records to great effect
  7. Prince George..cheap maybe.... Bessie banks.. Not so cheap
  8. Amazing how it was unreleased for 3 years as a vocal until it appeared on the album.. Yet the instrumental appeared as a b side
  9. The zing 45 was originaly issued on the UK in 1972 on the black buddah label distributed by polydor. Then reissued on the pye distributed brown buddah in 1974 when it was a hit
  10. The buddah stuff is all 1972.. They were on Philly int from late 73 to late 75 then onto Atlantic after that I think

The Jamaican copies of bettye and sam have the same vinyl and label typeface as a load of other Jamaican stuff so they are good Imo... Just common.. The USA stock copies are infinately rarer

  20. Nothing against any dealers. But if your gonna sell, sell it yourself. With all the internet exposure U can raise more cash than a dealer will give

the buyer will get to own a record they`ve always wanted...and bidding that high they can afford to throw money like confetti....and it wont bother them one jot that they`ve as much chance of gettin their money back as england have of winning the next world cup if they decide to sell it
