  5. the landa 45 bubbled under the billboard 100 in 1964 in reality it should be worth a tenner but some sort of connection always means that it sells for a bit more....madness if anyone pays more than 50 for it though,,,,,on another note if i were to buy a reissue i`d have it on phila soul
  6. sorted on this now....cheap as chips...how it should be
  7. i first heard it via richard searling mid eighties ...probably on red rose just after he left hallam...promptly phoned john manship and bought one for £20..... i keep sellin it tho just sold my fourth copy.... was a small national soul hit in the usa and thats why ,with the ebay factor plenty of copies have surface and price has come down a bit....nice on a white demo tho... quality 70`s the flips lyrics a a bit cheesy but still decent nontheless

  21. it does appear to be missing from the listing and probably is the first 45 on the label.....still stretching it a bit to be prior to july 71 but anythin is possible in this game... i found a VG copy that sold for £26 recently but thats all......wonder if they are all reverse labels
  22. according to this the label operated between 72 and 79....certainly a strange one lookin at the george mcrae catalogue number its probaly late 72 or early 73 https://www.bsnpubs.com/florida/bluecandle/bluecandle.html
