    yes i think its the same as the gold copy bob.which is certainly new. the cole 45 may been pressed back in the day but where the cole family are concerned it gonna be an uphill climb for them to gain credibility back as we know they still press their 45`s up. i for one will always be suspicious before parting with any money

    just a thought bob.. that copy came out of the states in 2009 and are only rubber stamps onto the label.that could have been done at any time. and the label is more lighter orange than the deeper orange copies that are rumoured to be earlier.

    thats pretty much what i said all along nev...unnissued 70`s put out around 2001 and i think they kept pressing a few up every so often to meet the demand stopping around 2005 i reckon...i dont think theres 1000`s of em tho as in recent years it doesnt seem to come up that much at all and theres always wants out for it

    for the record mine is orange on non see thru vinyl bought around 2003/4 from a uk very reputable dealer i was visiting who had 3 copies me and the two mates that were with me took one each all looked the same. still have it still sounds fabulous to my ears

    hopefully he will stop putting silly reserves on them . the records will sell themselves anyway because of the condition and the quality of the 45`s and the price will balance out with the amount of copies he has

    i saw that bob its the only one on popsike with that stamp. do you think it could be real or fake...does any one else have one of these with these with the lu-bet stamp on...all ive got to say in all the confusion i agree with bob in the first press 2nd press scenario as they were done at the same time, but i think its a 2000 press in any shape form or fashion rather than say a 1973 press.....unless someone can prove otherwise thats what we need

    could be right bob....he sent me a couple of emails about a 45 in my chanel but it wasnt for sale so he tried again a little while later but still told him no.. i cant remember what it was either now

    i dont believe anyone had a copy of this before 1998 anyway.. i think thats when they were pressed only the tony hymes ballad existed before..i had the first copy that henry had in my hands and every one i seen looks the the same,,if you look on popsike the guy that had them in bulk from the states his copies do appear to be lighter in colour but that could just be camera light etc....but in the flesh i just dont know..

    i think we agree on tobi being a great record but if you dont agree that tim`s old book is miles out with some of the values then youd be wrong.. but it is 6 or 7 years old now..johns book isnt great and his is only 2 years old. tims book is online now and says its been updated but everything ive looked for, which is a lot is prety much the same.....only ever had the one chance to buy an issue but passed on it coz i already had the demo.. issue is a rare collectors piece and will probably make a grand a least if its on johns auctions

    the problem i see with the hassle free on facebook is that there seems to be a lot of members on the page now selling different genre`s of music and things dissapear down the page very quickly. it was a great idea to start with and its probably got too big now...i still have a look but never see anythin to get excited about
