What's Dave up to nowadays? He had some great discs go through his hands...I recall buying mint unplayed copies of The Group on Prophonics and Hyperions on Chattahoochee on one occasion!
  2. True. Haven't heard from him in an age...anyone know what he is up to nowadays?
  3. I sold a minter about 18 months ago for £50...could've sold at least three more copies at that point too! £60-£70 is fair for sure.
  4. When I were a lad, this discs was always listed for the other side! 'To the bitter end'...proper stomping atmospheric NSoul. Reminds me of two things - Dave Evison playing it at Wigan, and buying my first copy (along with a Brice Coefield WD) from Little Steve Smith in Gloucester, for a few pounds...a long time ago!
  5. A lot of mileage left in this tune imo. Great dance track...decent price...recommended.
  6. TOP tune indeed! Here are the Japanese (love that red vinyl!) and the Dutch pic sleeve releases of it.
  7. I've also added a lot more label scans to my Gallery on SoulSource: >>> PRESS HERE <<<
  8. A few purvy pictures for you vinyl freaks
  9. Just updated the sales pages over on AnoraksCorner.com. Plenty of new titles including: Johnny Maestro - Scepter WD Johnny Gilliam - Bomar WD Joe Hicks - AGC Jimmey 'Soul' Clark - Soul Hawk WD Go have a look >>> PRESS HERE <<<
  10. Gary's sets upstairs at Stafford were always a great way to start a night there. Whenever I hear 'Rex Garvin', Little Stanley, Bud Harper, Gary Sole or the Creations, they catapult me back to those halcyon days...even if the sound was always distorted in that room!
  11. Not for sale, sorry...but am working on it for you
  12. It is OK, I s'pose.
  13. The two track orange covered one outta Italy or is it Spanish - haven't got it to hand. Those two tracks are also on a 4 track EP with Dave Dee, B,M and T and one other artist...think that one is Spanish or French or Italian as well...sorry quite late over here and apathy has set in!
  14. I am happy to move on my copy for £50...pretty much 9 out of 10 vinyl, labels and sleeve.
  15. Yep, a West Coast press by Monarch, with a delta number indicating September/October 1969.
  16. Hi Darryl, and thanks for the clarification over 'which came first' Out of interest, what was your (and Wand's) reaction when the mis-spelt label copies arrived...you must have been upset/annoyed?!
  17. Maybe your copy is a West Coast press?

  21. I would just like to add that is defo not a Japanese press...I have that variant on a rather fetching WD in a splendid picture sleeve! I'm not being much help, am I?!
  22. What's in the deadwax on your copy, Kev?
  23. Classic
  24. As I recall I used to like taping it next to Nat Wright's 'Run Sonny run' on Petal, with its similar feel...another disc due more attention imo.
