  1. For many the collecting of soul started with the Stax/Motown/Atlantic labels and artists and obviously graduated (and I don't mean that in a derogatory way) to the many sub-genres albeit deep/northern/R&B etc etc. Our play/faves box is crammed full of the unknown but who's got the Arethas/Otis/Butlers and the Marvins in their box? What tunes are doin' for you from the known and famous soul folk? Absolute killer for me at the moment is this sublime deep offering from Arthur Conley. Deep! Anyone for any more?? Rich
  2. Don't know the Charlie Mitchell 45 - Always liked that Black Stash 45 tho'. Always see UK copies - I assume it came out on US too? Rich
  3. Clip For Jean Elias. Rich
  4. Just playing this one last night: Jean Elias - How Long Can I Go On (Back Beat) - Crossover / Mid Tempo Class! Too slow? 'Tape Swapper' Tip Of The Week? Highly recc. for anyone who hasn't a copy. Rich

  10. Frederick Knight - When It Ain't Right With My Baby (Juana) Playing this last night and it just sounded fantastic! Written produced and performed by a southern soul legend. Nice to see it on Steve Plumbs site too.. (Plug Plug There you go Steve) https://www.soulmusic.co.uk/default.htm Ooh and Solaris on there too - Nice! Best Rich
  11. Just bumping this one a tad - Be interested to know if anyone has the missing numbers or if they were released?? Many thanks Rich
  12. Mmm interesting! Soulful Kinda Music lists 7205 as The Rainbows - Come Rain Come Shine / No Greater Thing Than Love. Personally Mark, I've never seen the 45 you have. Maybe Boba can shine some light on it? I used to collect George Leanors labels back in the early 90s and never saw this one. Best Rich
