Buying/Selling Ebay - Feedback threats
I buy and sell on Ebay. As a seller I always without question or quibble accept returns for whatever reason. If the buyer changed his mind they pay return postage if I’ve made a mistake I offer to pay for the return postage. Not sure that anyone could be fairer and I would expect the same when I buy. I just bought a record on Ebay, it arrived with a gouge in it that affected play. I informed the seller who swore that it was perfect when it left him and he didn’t accept returns and certainly not a damaged one. The infernce being I had damaged it, to quote « like the record back as it was SENT WITH NO big scatch THANKS” (his spelling mistake, not mine;) May sound strange but if record wasn’t scratched why would I want to return it ? Anyway I opened a Return Process that obliged seller to accept return, sent it back and got my original money back but not the return postage costs (about £9.00). I gave the person a neutral Feedback (NOT Negative) and he has contacted me to tell me that the next time I sell records he and his mates will bid and buy them with the intention of giving me Negative Feedback. I’ve never been threatened with this sort of thing in all the 18+ years I’ve been selling stuff. So beware that there are these sorts of people are out there.

I sold one for £30.00 about 3 - 4 years ago, had it for years.

The Trips - There's That Mountain - Bargain or Boot
Looks like a re-issue, besides they way buyers scavenge Ebay someone would have picked up on it. From memory the original has a darker yellow label. Original

So the issue went for £670.00, that's quite a lot, seen some demos for sale at £350 - 400. Not sure if Julian Bentley still has one for sale, he was looking for that kind of price (I think) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151778856243?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Soul in Belgium?
The small record fairs they have can be either useless or you can get some good finds. Here's a couple of sites that advertise them. https://www.ggrecords.be/fairs.php?country=Belgium https://www.platendraaier.nl/platenbeurzen/belgie/ www.platenbeurzen.com

Can't blame the seller if he's honest about the record but there are some very strange buyers out there for sure.

Very dark blue Stax label info request
Almost certainly Jamaican, I'm sure some work on the internet will produce some results. Stax records were pressed by Record Specialsts in Kingston, Ja.

I've seen dark blue ones but the text has always been black, not seen silver before. These two are Jamaican.

Four Tops " Still Waters Run Deep" info Required
Probably a UK pressed for some sort of DJ use, as I said not a major valued item, certainly unique though, good luck.

Hi Pablo, not very much, I would guess about $20.00 tops. I saw a couple of these on Ebay some while ago, the seller asked quite high prices but neither of them sold. Could you post a scan of the labels ?

Duke Browner On Impact. What Does The Boot Look Like ?
I'm not 100% sure but I think it was Nigel Martin who brought it to the Torch in 1972 and sold it to (maybe) KM for £50.00.

Duke Browner On Impact. What Does The Boot Look Like ?
When were they for sale at 60p each, the 70s or 80s ? It went for £50.00 at the Torch in 1972/73.

This a Monarch pressed record with 107892 vocal side, 107492 on instrumental side. Is in styrene with a stuck on label very tough to tell from an original in a dark room ! You don't see a lot of these for sale, probably rarer than original !! Monarch pressed circa 70s An original
