  2. Original Holton USA 45 promo. Condition is Mint- £40 plus postage.
  3. Bought my copy at Dave Withers Manchester indoor market stall, roundabout 1985. It was 30p. Also bought 4 copies of The Newsounds on Mod Art for 30p each, on the same day. These records weren't in fashion at that time.
  4. So how is ebay going to make up the money lost through this move?
  5. "Don't Be A Cry Baby/ Walking The Floor Over You" Two great sides. Record in Ex condition. Looks and plays great. £25 plus £3.50 postage.
  6. "You're With Me All The Way" The Charades Mercury Promo 45 rpm Original USA 45rpm. £30 plus £3.50 post. Condition is Excellent. Great moody 60's Soul!
  7. Does this mean ebay will not take a commission when I sell something? I get what the item sells for?
  8. This only happens because of bad management and incompetent supervision by managers! I'm sorry to read about your Mother-in- laws hospital experience. Sounds like my stay in hospital
  9. Last night I had to take my Mother to A&E. No problem with the ground floor staff, they are trying their best, but the management organisation is terrible! And where are the top managers? All gone home for the evening and off on the weekends! Our A&E last night was a hell hole. People crammed into a low ceiling room with no windows and poor ventilation. No seats left, so people sleeping on the floors or standing against walls. After hours of waiting we finally gave up and I took my Mother home. A truly awful experience to put sick people through!
  10. Such a shame these great records didn't sell at the time!
  11. The condition is a nice Excellent+ His rarest and best on the label. £125 all in. Includes tracked post.
  12. Record is Ex condition. This is the original light blue demo. It must be about ten times rarer than the normal blue issue. £50 plus £3 postage.
  13. Two great sides. Super soulful crossover Northern Soul mid tempo dancer. £80 + £4.60 post Very nice Excellent condition.
  14. I don't think it has been booted as an issue. There may be some carver type things knocking about, with a photocopy label stuck on. I wouldn't buy it without a Monarch delta number and details in the runout. All original copies I have seen, have them.
  15. "It's The Same Old Me"/ "Let Me Live"- Otis Leavill - Bluerock. M- £20. Plus postage. Great Chicago double-sider. "I Don't Want To Lose You"/ "Just Be Sincere" - Jackie Wilson - Brunswick. Ex+. £20. Plus postage. Double sided brilliance!
  16. That's right you didn't, and you have started a very interesting topic on lost 45 records, but I thought it a point worth clarifying.
  17. He didn't issue the record for the USA. He just pressed up a 1000 copies on a special order using the old Chess distributed Red Coach number 802 that the white demo used in 1973. They where all shipped to the UK Northern Soul scene. Rick Cooper on here said a while ago he ordered them while working at Global Records. Then I think Gene Redd pressed some more copies for other UK dealers. His Red Coach label that was distributed be Red Lite was up to at least release number 808 by 1975, when the so called issue was pressed.
  18. Immaculate Mint- condition. Original USA demo 45rpm. £150 plus postage.
  19. Original first issue of this great Detroit record. Record is in nice Ex condition. Has two light pen x's on flip side. They are not very noticeable, but I always think it gives a little provenance to the originality. £50 all in. Postage included.
  20. Classic Northern Soul, on a nice Mint- original first issue USA 45. £25 plus postage.
  21. Sold. Original first issue UK Bluebird release from 1982. Condition is mint- Nice mover with Walter Jackson's distinctive great soulful vocals. £20 all in, includes postage to UK address.
  22. All time classic in very nice Excellent+ condition. Original USA 45 first issue. £40 plus £3.50 tracked postage.
  23. Every time I see the photos of that record, I think there was a extremely rare, good condition record that now has been defaced and devalued with needless writing on the label! If Kenny needed Frank Wilsons autograph, it would have been good enough having the sleeve signed, and a photo at the same time for provenance!
  24. I met Nick and his wife around 1981. They were both good company. We did some tape swops and he taped me some great records, which have turned out to be rare and collectable items.
  25. On Hold. Great Northern Soul instrumental from the Stafford all-nighter era, when Guy Hennigan had it covered-up. Record is an original first issue in great Mint- condition. £60 + postage. Second picture is the copy for sale.
