  1. Lets hope theres as many of the other Clay Browns as well. Or maybe a shock horror Prix like find of the label?! Stuff like Leroy Clofer and that James Munroe seem to have lost their value slightly now? Be interesting if the same happens to Wally C but it certainly appears to be a lot rarer at present....
  2. luvverly record

  4. Gone for £1k recently
  5. Sounds very much like Angela Davies... almost like the same session! Would agree this could be the better track
  6. Unissued RCA recording i think according to the Larry Banks Soul Family notes? Can't decide which is the better cut, although this one is the more polished....
  7. Trey Js 1:37 and not that rare

  18. Yes that version is great as well, love the girlie backing in it. I think for rawness and sheer heaviness the Billy Ball version wins hands down, but its not for the feint hearted. Also for contemporary versions Binky Griptite's 'Mellow Matic Mood' on Daptone is a nice little take on the riff.
  19. Didn't realise Keith has given it a go on Sunday as well Can't beat the original too, one of the greatest grooves ever laid on wax
  20. Has anyone mentioned Alcon Shades 'All Is Forgiven' yet?
