Sad News Richard Popcorn Wylie RIP
Chalky Like you can remember meeting Richard on stage at Dunstable in th 80's and still have the tape of him live at "The International" in Manchester 17th June 1988. It was a great pleasure to meet such a true gentleman as well as such a highly respected musician and producer. Our thoughts are with all who knew him and loved him. Mark

Inmates - This Is The Day....info
Steve I am glad you found another copy, what and sold this one as well? It is such a wonderful record and I still regret selling it after all this time, but loved opening with it when dee-jaying. It is one of those records that just has a huge impact right from the first beat! Mark O

People On The Soul Scene On Tv
Hi Dave Yes remember seeing Adey Pountain and family on Family Fortunes and embarassing him at Stafford one night by getting him to admit it. Has anybody ever owned up to being one of the soulies doing backdrops etc to Footsee on "Top of the Pops" when it was in the charts all those years ago. I still remember one of them looking like Dave Evison! MarkO

Wolverhampion Old Vic Soul Nights '82-'84 / '86-'88
Harpo, Chris Plant, Ted, Andy Spencer, Just a few of the names of people that I remember with so many good memories. Harpo great to see you at Stoke last year, how the hell did you remember the exact venue and time when we last saw each other before then after all that time? Chris believe it or not I still have the tape you did for me all those years ago and you are one of the many people that I really missed at venues when you left the scene. Ted and Andy, 2 of the most genuine guys I've ever met. Sorry I missed the anniversary, Neil Allen told me tonight that it had been on, I would have loved to catch up with you guys after all this time as well as so many others from around the time and this venue. Harpo I will keep an eye out for any future dates. Mark Oliver

Dusty Wilson - Cant Do Without You
Matt, I met Dusty about 10 years ago and spent the day with him. He's a really nice guy, still writing material. Most of his vinyl has now gone although he let us have several mastertapes with some of his un-issued material that he did at D-Town.
