  1. A topic for all you anoraks out there (you know who you are ). On some releases artist names, titles and some label names were spelt backwards. I always had a soft spot for these releases for some strange reason. Examples are... Eivets Rednow Naatab Yobyalps (?!) The Nosnibor label Can anyone think of any more?
  2. Found scans of this tough to find Jimmy Jules demo copy on my harddrive...
  3. I think it was used in DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist's Brainfreeze mix too.
  4. I've been thinking the same thing. I reckon no one in France knows what Jellybeans are, so they got away with it (and it is a beautiful sleeve I must say)
  5. SOLD DivShare File - Jelly Beans - You don_t mean me no good.mp3
  6. First one I'm thinking of is 'It's your voodoo working' by Charles Sheffield...
  7. I think by young they mean anyone under 50. And when I look at my local scene I'm estimating the average age of a soulie here is around 30, so I guess there's still some bright times ahead of us
  8. Large batch of rarities uploaded to eBay, including: Lil' Major Williams Sage Electra Fyd Revue Ron Saunders Some Popcorn rarities like: Louis Dias Johnny Braff some lots and then some more rarities like Dee Edwards Pyramid Rozaa Jack & The Mods Little Beaver and Grank Williams and many more!!! >>>CLICK HERE TO CHECK THEM ALL OUT<<< You won't be disappointed

  11. I'm selling a copy of Cody Black's underplayed up-tempo monster on Wheelsville. As you might have experienced yourself this record is a true bugger to find in decent condition. This copy of the record has some marks but plays great! I'm selling this for 300 dollars inc. shipping to anywhere in the world. Any q's or if interested PM. Cody Black.mp3 Cody Black.mp3
  12. Thanks for pointing out my flaw. Edited the original post
  13. Don't think this one needs an introduction... One of the all-time greats and the hardest to find on the label. Not the cleanest copy around with quite a bit of wear on the label and vinyl (loads of superficial marks but no really deep ones). As you can hear the tune plays with some distortion/crackle but it's still pretty enjoyable to listen to. Reduced to £450 inc shipping... Paypal accepted. DivShare File - Jackey Beavers - I need my baby.mp3
  14. All scans and soundclips taken from the actual record. Shipping to anywhere in the world is £5. If interested or if you have any questions PM. First member who PM's about a record gets it. 15. Whoa thanks! Curious to hear some of these tunes, so I'll better start hunting then:) Do you know whether the missing numbers were never released or unknown? I'm guessing they just skipped a few numbers but thought I'd ask anyway...
  16. I'm talking about the label that has B.W. Souls and Faye Ross as most common releases. Other ones on the label pop up every once in a while, but I've never seen a label discography anywhere. Anyone have one? If not I'm sure we can join forces and make one!
  17. Found a mint copy of French Coffey for 2 in a local comic book shop that also sells some records. I remember driving back home and telling myself 'this is too good to be true'. It wasn't
  18. One of the earlier ones... still great to watch!

As you can hear the tune plays with some distortion/crackle but it's still pretty enjoyable to listen to. DivShare File - Jackey Beavers - I need my baby.mp3 I just finished booking a trip to England with the missus, so I could do with some UK pounds to spend while I'm there. Because of this I prefer cash payment for this one. Asking price is £500 (a fraction of the book price) and as always the first member who PM's gets the record.

Nope. It was more about the fact that the man has a great voice for singing acoustically. Whether he's homeless or the president of the Ukraine doesn't really matter for me personally.
