  5. Essential !-- Today is a new day and Gimme little action-Wow !!!
  6. The songwriter supreme, and has singing isn't far behind, reminds me of a brilliant night at the Jazz Cafe.
  7. If it doesn't win we can always all chip in for a bootleg Bafta with exact repro label.
  8. I enjoyed watching the movie and feel Elaine deserves the award.... All this talk of "keeping it underground" is pretty delude when £5 CD compilations have been available in every High Street for years. Some younger guys I know recently mentioned they had seen the movie and loved it. They know nothing about soul music, but have already purchased the soundtrack and asked to look at my 45's.... all because of the movie.

  10. You've just described Soul Boy not the Northen Soul Film, you sure you're not getting them mixed up
  11. Really surprised to see this nominated! I thought it was a terribly predictable, stereotypical film. Not knocking the achievement of raising the funds and getting a film done, but to me it might as well have been Billy Elliott! Can we please have a dance film script that involves disenchanted youngster stumbling upon scene, instantly becomes a great dancer, cops off with the hottest NS girl in the club thus incurring the wrath of the existing (but bad) hot dancer? A real disappointment in my opinion.

  14. I'm new to the multi-quote thing! Chalky and PhilReeves: We sent 320k MP3 files over to the company that hosts our downloads, but it appears there was something weird happening with their system where incorrect files were assigned to some download cards. I have reached out to them to fix the issue, but if the files you downloaded aren't 320k MP3s, please send me a pm and I'll send you a direct link to the correct files.
