The group name does'nt sound that good. 'Goodnews'??? But you never know with these 'Jobete published' tunes. It was on auction (not ebay) and had quite a few bidders, probably because of the Jobete connection. 'Where There's A Will...' the only one I know is on Mirwood by Jimmy Conwell??

GWS (Golden World?) - Jobete publishing..... Unfortunately I never got chance to obtain it but thought it looked interesting. Anyone know it?

Yes...and I had one of those tapes!! Hugh has played guitar with B.B King, not much sign of his guitar playing on this tune though....great vocals I reckon!

Must apologise, 'Don't Let Me Down' is'nt on the Motown Anthology but it's on 'Cellarful Of Motown' (volume 1)... 'You Can Do It' definitely is on the Anthology.

'Where The Lillies Grow' (Dakar) is a good 45 by the man.

The Kim Weston tracks are on the K.W Motown Anthology' CD from last year. Both previously unreleased.

Is this fabulous piece of Northern Soul well known? Was it ever played on the scene...anywhere!! Yes Nev, you're right, Crazy Cajun is the re-issue so that's probably what I was thinking of. For some reason I always thought the C.C was it's first release in 1978. Still want a copy though....

somewhere in the back of my pea brain tells me the L.P was re-issued in the 80s/90s? I know the Crazy Cajun came out 1978(ish). The Teardrop 45 'Its Not The End' is a great tune (as you know) and one went on the bay last night for £355. Had a funky one by them on Teardrop years ago but can't remember the title. Want the L.p cause the 45s are out of my price range.

Anyone got a copy for sale? Did it come out on another label? If so, I'd be interested in that also.

Was it the Trashmen on HBR? Anyway, suppose this version of 'Farmer John' could be considered 'boogaloo' so definitely a Mod type sound. Like I said though, the Northern side is GREAT!! Someone must have some info on the group?????

Not sure of any others, but I can tell you that I had a Dearborn 45 which was C&W (pile of bilge) and it had 'an MSK production' on the label.

Hey John, wonder how much i'd get for my white End label (styrene) re-press (70s?)...it's even in a genuine End sleeve??? Great sound quality....are these (boots?) rare?

These previously unreleased instrumental cuts are kosher...MSK productions are related to Dearborn in some way. My MSK 45 even came in a Dearborn sleeve!!!
