  4. Hi Steve He'd covered everything though - in great detail. Peter
  5. Hi Dave Is the Charles Bradley programme different to the one that aired ealrier this year? I've seen that and have it recorded somewhere - great programme and a great talent. Peter

  8. Awesome mate - ticks my boxes as a proper soul record. Peter
  9. Ay up my mate Original release is on Tomaria. One sold earlier this year for about $2,500 which wasn't in the greatest of nick so it's no an easy one. I don't know about any reissue but I don't know much full stop! Peter
  10. You need to calm down a bit mate - you've gone way over the top with your effing and blinding at everyone on here. And just for the record it is a matter of fact that the programme did not cover everything in great detail - that would have been impossible. Peter
  11. Isn't it just mate. She was very special in lots of ways was me mam. She just let me get on with me weekends away - I always finished work early on a Friday to make sure we could be off all nitering somewhere. We never had much but she'd ensure that me - and any of me mates who turned up, had a nice Friday tea before we set off - the best chicken and chips ever. Peter
  12. I wore baggies for a very short period - didn't really like em but that was the score and I was too young to want to be different. Anyway, I bought a pair of denim patch work baggies once. Came down stairs and me elderly mum saw me and said "Our lad, you look like a proper twat in them". She was right. Bless yer mam Peter
  13. Well, I reckon the "old fellas" may well go happy. Peter
  14. Blimey - that ain't an easy post to read - why all the line spaces?
  15. I think the clue is in the looking for a nice 45. Peter
  16. It could have been far worse - in fact I think it was good. It kept me entertained for half an hour. As I think Steve G pointed out it was all oldies and memories - nothing about the contemporary side of the scene/music, but hey it was only half an hour. Peter
  17. I was just being kind. I know a bull shit when I see one! Still, credit where credit is due - it took some effort to reproduce that stuff, and it was interesting.
  18. You're a bugger you are Dave!
  19. Sheeat Dave! You sound like a professor of academia! Interesting stuff though buddy. Peter
  20. Here's another Willie Mitchell production which is winging its way from the states - sublime soul music. From that great Tennessee based label Hi - lots of similarity with the previous record. Quiet Elegance - I'm Afraid Of Losing You. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89e5k3TSGZ8 Peter
