    That's just wrong Bearsy! Peter
  3. It was the Coyote's that gave it away! I thought the old las can't live up the road from me in notts! I'm not sure where Waterdown is in Ontario - sounds very pretty. I'll give it a google! Peter
  4. Wow! You must live in the states somewhere then? Peter
  5. The only fight I've ever seen inside a do was at Notts Palais - it was probably you then Mr Moore! Bit of a long shot I know - the ruck I saw was probably 1980, give or take a few years after! It was a long time ago. Peter
  6. Lovely! Shame about the plants - although I reckon it's a good exchange to get regular visits from such a cutie! Peter
  7. I can't remember posting on this thread so............................. The 80's were easily the best times for me. The music, the venues, the people. I was just at the right age and loved it. Best times of my life. Peter
  8. I watched it on Friday and then again last night with my brother who isn't a soul fan. I sneakily watched him welling up a few times and he kept on asking "how old is this bloke really"? It was a great programme. I have a mate whose a fair bit older than me - he's a black dude and has loads of the same manerisms. Even my bro said he looks just like your mate! LOL Peter Peter
  9. Well done and thanks to our Ste! Some lovely pictures there mate - thanks for sharing. I can't make my mind up whether my favourite is the swallow chicks (probably) or the red breasted Linnet. They're all good. Cheers mate. Peter
  10. They are called New Street Adventure I think Kev. I don't think its my cup of tea. Changed my mind - nice. Peter
  11. I am unable say one way or the other Richard! Like you say not much to go on is there? Peter
  12. I thought they might have been plastics Keith. Peter
  13. Mr White show ain't too shabby either is it? Just look and listen at that orchestra - and we ain't see The Man yet! He might not be everyone's cup of tea - but he is mine. He was also very a influential black rights and equality campaigner. I'd have enjoyed being at this show and shaking the mans hand! Peter

There was always something decent happening up North Bearsy. Unfortunately you southern poofs lads and lasses couldn't quite hack it. Peter
  15. Hi buddy I don't thiink it's been repressed. I think it might just be one of those occasions where the record is like a bus - you don't see any for ages then what appears like loads appear for sale. They then just disappear again. It's a nice enough record with an atttractive label too - I can see why people would want one. Peter
  16. I certainly would have tooted Amanda mate. It was some geezer with dark hair driving - didn't see anyone else in there. Petre
  17. Seen a few recently too Jim. Not enough to effect the price though. Peter
  18. I suspect so Steve. A decent bit of kit it was too. My mate Terry from Lincolnshire has a camper van - but it wasn't him or his van. Terry's van is much more undesirable - mm, so is Terry for that matter. Pretty sure I didn't recognise the driver as I over took. Peter
  19. I've been driving that route to work for ten years and have never seen it before so logic would suggest it's someone new to the area or they were travelling somewhere from home. We can rule out a scottish fellow from Notts. Peter
  20. Fcuk me it's that pikey lad Bearsy! Peter
  21. Nice records Barry. Peter
  22. You bugger! Is it your van though? I would have thought you would have had the Saint Andrews Cross on your bumper if it was yours. It's a nice van. Peter
  23. Is that a joke Richard? That's not me you're referring to if it isn't a joke - I just followed behind you for a bit trying to read the smaller writing on the left side back of the camper van. What does that say - I could read "minute" and maybe "holiday"? I can assure you that I was most courteous in my driving. I wouldn't road rage a fellow souler! Peter
  24. Was driving to Loughborough and to work this morning. Got behind a while camper type van towing a trailer. The trailer had a bull dogs head design on it and the spare wheel cover on the camper van had northern soul and the famous fist design on it. The bonnnet of the camper van has a union jack on it. Anyone know who it belongs to - just curious to know if I know them from SS or elsewhere. I didn't recognise the driver. Peter
