Old stuff, new stuff, retro stuff - if I can feel it it's good. Another example - bit old now, is the Chocolate Factory album. Is there a bad track on there - wonderful soul music, which I'm pleased to have bought and bought into at the time. Maybe a bad example for a more up to date geezer like yer sen. P

It's hard to define isn't it - but I like some more down tempo soul that would never have been played back in the day - stuff that if you have a feeling for is much more uptempo than is immmediately obvious.
