Does Area Matter?
Never bothered me. Walked, thumbed it, travelled on trains and buses - then got a car. Never bothered us and we had a few scrapes. I remember setting off home from Notts Odd Fellows at Leics in my silver, ford capreeeee ghia and some fecker had unscrewed me wheel nuts. Happy Days - mm, was a top all niter car me capri.

Cleggy/clifton/mecca 70S Stompers
In terms of timescales you are being very broad - Mecca through to the early 80's, yet very specific and prescriptive in terms of venues. Just for clarity you are referring to Cleethorpes era 1 (Mary Chapman) and era 2 (Steve Croft) in terms of niters and time scales? You have posted some decent tunes to get things started.

John Edwards
Don't come much better than this! Great record. Peter

Fantastic Johnny C
But surely a legitimate release is a legitmate release? If a record company releases a record in the states and then releases it over here it's still original and playable as OV. I'm no serious collector and haven't bought stuff for years so I'll happily concede that I'm a prat but surely the above stance is over the top. Peter

3 Tunes I'm After

Some 80S Bits - Pics
Put some 80's pics up quite a while ago now - mainly from Crofty's niters at the Winter Gardens - there might have been a few from Clifton Hall too. Worth a look if you've not seen em. Under Peters99 albums.

Play List From Quorn
Cheers Kev - not seen or even heard of that for donkey's years. I have to confess to liking the full title of the song more than the song itself!
