  1. No bait intended fella, primarily the said acetate is not available, having said that never say never I posted a request, hoping that one of the many clued up members of this greatly informative site could shed a little light on the authenticity/value of the disc,
  2. Anyone know anything at all about Topper acetates?
  3. Agree Mike, and it plays loud and clear
  4. I have here a 10" one sided studio acetate (or maybe not) Playing grooves only take up the central part of the disc, Tobi Lark - Sweep it out in the shed - Topper records Can anyone out there tell me if this is a genuine Topper studio acetate? If so maybe a possible value? Will try and post a scan of sorts, not much good at that sort of stuff but hopefully will give a good enough idea Thanks in advance
  5. 2 in demand demo's up for sale - Both in tip top nick, Charles Lamont and the extremes 'I've got to keep moving' SOLD Satisfactions - 'Take it or leave it' SOLD Paypal, cash, cheque, if interested PM please Thanks for looking,
  6. Try saying that after a few sherberts (Not trying to highlight a spelling error, )
  7. Charity events are all well and good, but what I find sometimes irritating is when a previously unused venue has a big push for such an event, DJ's invited to play for free, raffles prizes donated etc and when you get there the place is covered in flyers and posters advertising all future (non charity) events at the venue, or worse, the organisers make out the initial night was so good it would be a shame not to run regular nights (non charity) at the venue, when you kinda know that was the intention all along, Can't help feeling the charity and the DJ'S have been used as a springboard to get the venue/event on the map so to speak, maybe me being cynical but it does happen, But in general it is great to see events genuinly giving up time and money for worthwhile causes
  8. Can't resist askin ya Phil, how did you know you had heard it?
  9. Totally agree Phil, shame it's been hammered but like you say bad records don't get hammered,

Lucky you Bought mine about 10 years ago and at the time I remember talking to a few that did have problems with the demo, not all but enough to make me think maybe the issue might be a better option,

I used to have the demo, visually mintish but randomly jumped, and as far as I am aware lots do, seems the issue is a safer option, or it could just be me
  13. FFS Was on the tip of my tongue
  14. Godz just reading that lead me astray
  15. Has he had any notable commercial success?
  16. Have we established where he's from? British?
  17. I have just realised why I missed last weeks, thought the last one was the Samantha Sang one, DOH!!
  18. Only seen the Demo same both sides, but seem to remember being told some Demo's have 'aint nothin like a little loving' on the flip (same as the issue) is this the case?
  19. Always assumed it meant Original Vinyl Only? Just noticed your bracketed definition Steve so my feeble attempt at sarcasm has somewhat backfired
