Often when I have replied to a 'want' on here the buyer tries to knock down my asking price, no matter how reasonable the price, as though the buyer is in the driving seat, and I am desperate to sell, As already mentioned a couple of times it would make things much simpler to post 'willing to pay' price along with want, Unless it's something actually in the sales box I don't bother as things are, Must be a nightmare for the full time dealers though, Pete Eccles

Can't think of many tracks if any that have been played more than Ruby Andrews in the last 15 yrs, thats not dissing the track, been known to give it a few spins myself, So it must come under the SOSO heading, Funny how we all have our fave 'oldies' without thinking those that we are fed up with are probably somebody elses fave 'oldie', the times i've been at a venue where somebody is moaning about the same old same old being played then will get up to dance to one saying 'but this ones ok', Try and get to venues where you have an idea of what you're gonna get, and if it delivers then everyones happy,

Chains and locks help stop a smash and grab theft, but I can't help thinking locks etc make things look valuable where otherwise they may be overlooked, When i was burgled they grabbed all the usual stuff but can't help thinkin if my boxes had locks on they may have been taken out of curiosity, Wasn't there a case not long back where a car was stolen with records in the boot, when car was found the records were still there intact?, maybe a lot more damage if stuff is under lock and chain, Anyway glad Kev got his 45's back (well most of em)

Great news and a great relief A reminder to us all when we stop off anywhere when travelling, services, pub etc, and always think about taking the records in with us, but usually think sod it they will be ok, Pete E
