Never Had It So Good
I can see where you're coming from Pete ,these are the cream, as for Eddie Daye ,how can it be in the top 500 ,I love it it ,but I can't remember hearing it out for donkey's years ,guessing it because it's on Shrine and is a bit pricey Bazza

Never Had It So Good
I can only think of a couple of recently discovered tunes ,if you can call in the last ten years recent that have caught folk's eye are Margaret Little - Love Finds Away (which should have remained undiscovered cos its utter rubbish) The Parliaments - This Is My Rainy Day ( which I do Like ) no doubt there are others ,but I think these are the biggest new finds Bazza

Tonite - Northern Soul Bbc Living For The Weekend
Well it was a lot better than I expected, Levine turned into a menace at one time ,still very much up his own arse ,I don't usually go in for this nostalgia thing ,or the so called N/S films.but I did quite enjoy it Bazza

Oh Dear... Northern Dance Lessons On Radio 2
My Dancing lessons where watching the great dancers in Notts ,when I was a lad ,and that's how us old boys learnt ,My spot on the floor is in the middle ,preferably when no one else is dancing Bazza

Oh Dear... Northern Dance Lessons On Radio 2
Well Carl,no I wouldn't ,mainly because I dance differently to each tune ,I feel the beat I feel the emotion ,I dance to the record ,not just to the beat so I would find it impossible show anyone cos I don't know how I am going to move from one minute to the next or from one record to the next Bazza

Oh Dear... Northern Dance Lessons On Radio 2
Carl I don't agree with much of what you have said,,there is no such thing as a N/soul dance moving around trying to look like everyone else is not dancing,The bit I highlighted is true, many fastish tunes have in between beats, pick out the one that suits and dance to it ,rather than jump about trying to keep up with the more obvious fast beat Bazza The most interesting dancers are the one's with there own style
