  1. On the Marion Ryan - Better Use Your Head, yes imho it's not anywhere near great as Little Anthony (I personally don't think anyone could ever have topped his performance on this) but plenty of people seem to like the Marion Ryan as I've had plenty dancing to it and coming over to ask what version it is when spun out recently. I know some of you will say its a well known track but whats old to some is new to others. Also I like the Robin Wilson version as well but as this was British..........

  5. Paul For Music in Whitechapel, East London is now shut. It's got quite a few mentions in various rare soul books. 17. I've got that Sugarman Three Lp, some really good tracks on there. Also saw them live at the Jazz Cafe, was probably about 2000, they were really good. Try here for some really good tunes https://www.daptonerecords.com/ . I especially love the Sharon Jones version of What Condition My Condition Is In. Another great track by her is How Long do I Have to Wait for You? I believe Neil Sugarman now plays with Sharon Jones in The Dap Kings, I'm not sure that the Sugarman Three are still together. Cheers Richard
