I went to the Metropolitan Club in Farringdon,if memory serves it used to be next to Yo Sushi in Farringdon rd,now flats. They had all sort of nights,latin,Rare groove,Soul and Jazz. We had many a drunken night in there. Also did the ,The Bush,Sols Arms,St Giles and,The Notre Dame in Leicester Sq early 80`s,they were Mod nights. Late 80`s did a few Of Clarkie`s do`s,rememeber heading over West to Shepherds Bush/Barons Court way for a night out once. Even in the 90`s there was plenty still going on. Sadly London isn`t the City we all grew up in any more

Anybody know what years these were recorded, i know they are all unreleased but maybe there`s more info on the Cd booklet,sadly i don`t buy cd`s anymore. Cold Hearted Woman-John Edwards. Just a matter of interest ,what was 1st? Red or Yellow? I was under the impressive Red. Just been looking at prices and the yellow is listed on line at £99-160, yet Red at £88. Am i missing something here, cos i never thought it was hard to find both colours.

My mate`s joined Soul source,he`s found a few interesting 45`s which will might get the Steve G. (VINYL OF MASS DESTRUCTION ) certificate in a pub in Cheshunt very soon Watch this space. Who would have thought Cheshunt would be the Southern hub of rare soul lol.

This copy is exactly the same , not bigging up the find but if it was a boot or repress,why is there only 2/3 copies. Surely by now there be a few more turning up?Hardly worth pressing up a few when i was under the impression limited run was 100.

Peter it`s Trc 1032 in Black Bold with 757 in Brackets underneath. i don`t know how to post up label scan on here. If someone knows,i`ll text/ what`s app/ messenger the scan and they can do it. Going by numbers ,the last pressing on that label was 1031 which was 1973 so if legit,it was last on label. Going by info on a previous thread .

It sounded the same,i will check to make sure ,so long since i played or heard the lp .

He never said where he found it(collectors rules lol) .he didn`t know the track,it came with a big pile of 45`s. It looks real to me but don`t know how to post up a scan. i can send someone the photo if they know how?

A mate who`s started collecting again found the above on Trc on a 45. Now i was under the impression it was lp only. Spoke to a few collectors and they think the same. Is it legit or a repress/ Boot?I can try and add a scan if poss. The run out is Trc 757 at 5 o`clock.

I have the 12" ,only problem is it`s in storage so might take a few days or so to locate and get over there if you got the patience to wait? Wish i `d seen this earlier,i was over there Friday.

Purple is more xover/best version to my ears with a great deep flip. Red is more funky ,12" is nice/more modern.Hope this helps

Great record ,i was lucky enough to get a copy off the late Sepia(Aka Steven R) . I believe there was only 300 pressed but maybe Cynthia can confirm. I agree with other members on here that it`s better to hear the facts from the artist . Hopefully the record will get more exposure now and be given the status it deserves.
