All play through with pops and crackles in places and none of em look pretty, but all 3 are fine to Dj with and play through without skipping. Sublime crossover delivery of this old Bacharach & David standard which has picked up so many plays in the last couple of years and a funky flip given exposure by nn other than Soul Sam. Chuck Bernard "Love can slip away" b/w "Bessie Girl" Zodiac Vg £30 ON HOLD Two massive slabs of soul on one disc here. Not the best of condition but fine to play out, and this really needs playing out loud and often. I'm not sure how hard this one is, but i've rarely seen it come up for sale unlike many of his others. "Slip away" is a master class in mid tempo soul delivery whilst the flip reveals a fabulous crossover tune to match many of the best out there (IMHO of course). Have a listen.
