actually it was three copies and they fell off the bottom of a pile of records I was moving to get the record player plug.. Gave them all to JA advisng him that this was a massive record etc he played it and typically said "thats shit"..we came to a deal where if he sold two of them off his list he'd give me one free of charge. Ten mins after the list came out £100 each he rang me to ask where I'd found them.. and of course 48hrs later the record arrived with a thank you letter. I bet he found some more copies the ole bugger.

Spot on, my sentiments exactly well maybe the dancing is stretching it a bit, the playing of counterfiet records to a dgree I can cope with though the dj whoever it may be would lose some respect for many different reasons. However if folk can understand where you're coming from Baz are they're people out there who truly understand the passion that is collecting vinyl. Not counterfiet vinyl the proper stuff. The previous thread had some people making out that those that enjoy the serious collecting on our scene are elitist cash rich bigots. Ive just purchased a record that I don't even like in an attempt to add to the whole listing of a sought after Detroit label, I collect white promos and regulary buy promo copies of issue I already have. Some out there will know where I'm coming from however I appreciate that most are well within their rights to think I and many others are completely doowallytappo. Sometimes I look at my bank balance and think that those guys who pay £5 for Freddie Chavez on a boot are the clued up shrewd guys.

last time I played a boot was 12 years ago ..I don't have any now as I gave them all away to you and matey from Boston FOC. Unlike you I have this passion to play origonal vinyl and would never compromise with boots just to satisfy the dance floor, remember I'm a collector NOT a grade one NS DJ like your goodself.
