  1. yes but sadly its not a great version.
  2. nev black exitocs label scan https://www.popsike.c...0212384736.html so same. but i'm now also starting too wonder about mixed feelings myself ? jason has it up in his united discog and i've never looked into it any more than that. https://www.carolinasoul.org/south.htm i'm sure he would be able to clarify though. it is well documented that mixed feelings are from carolinas so i find it to many coincidences for it to be a diofferent united label.
  3. may haver been recorded earlier and not put out till 75 ? its 100% same label as black exotics and mixed feelings and not same label as cl blast.
  4. yes once the cat is out of the bag all hope of cheap copies is gone.... time to move onto looking for something else. was this frist brought to the attention of soul collectors by Jason ? he put me onto the label in a big way.
  5. do they pop up regulary as I never see them. took me ages to get my fist copy........ and the eddie parker is fantastic one of the very best records around.
  6. i've searched for a few deep ad slow items on the label myself. Found a mint linzy washington but the others evaded me. all are very very hard to find. first time i've seen this particualr release on open market.
  7. that linden hill seems very cheap to me. I rate it quite a bit higher price wise. truly fantastic record and pretty tricky to find.
  8. yes it certainly is a tough one.
  9. Buddy Mcknight "I've got to move / baby baby" Pine Hills Ex rare record doesn't show up for sale very often. the first copy I had clocked up a lot of airmiles and changed hands between 3 or 4 people. this is my second copy. "i've got" is gritty ghetto soul with a sparse production just right for today. "baby" is mroe trad northern sound and equally good. 200GBP including shipping paypal by gift preferred method of payment by pm please if interested regards, dylan
  10. and a very appropiate name for the genre. nice use of the word beaver
  11. those shoes deserve some much better pics but would be a bargain for somebody if they are in excellent condition. a very nice shoe.

its at the top end of what I would want to pay but its certainly not a ridiculous price. hardly ever see this for sale on open market. I noticed he has another rare turbo LP up as well but I don't know the other one.

that would be me then. I did stick a cheeky 80 dollar bid on something last week but it sold for 3700 dollars I had no idea it would go for so much.

I got one of those for between 50 and 100 dollars. it had an edge warp which I stupidly tried to repair but ended up trashing the record so it went in the bin........... there is no way i'd be splashing nearly 1k on this 45 can't some people find decent records cheap any more its not that hard to do is it ??

its as instantly catchy as any record i've heard. I can fully understand why this was massive right from the off when those DJs who go copies started playing it.
  17. oner side same as this auction one the other reviewed by John Ridley here https://www.sirshambl...leton/index.php bob I don't think i could use a spare but it would be a good record for your next sales list somebody must want it.....
  18. thats probably (almost certainly) his easiest record to find and is usually a $10 record. I've never bothered picking up any cheap spares as I never expected it to sell for much more. the other D&B with deep flip is far far harder to find.
  19. anybody I accept its not in great shape but the side that plays (very well for the grade i've given) is fantastic. i've only seen a handfull of these for sale a genuine rarity.
  20. I quite like the inst b side to this its got a good groove and would sit nicely in the middle of a DJ spot in between vocal tracks.

A sensible price for a fantastic double sider.
  22. Barbara Hall "Tell me tell me tell me" Tuska Vg- cond a lesser graded copy of a very rare and great 45 from the infamous tuska label. the flip side is unplayable so you'd be buying this for "tell me" only. I rate this 45 at 800GBP in M- condition so with that as my start point i'm after 175GBP for this copy no offers please. IMO even harder to find than her other fantastic 45 "big man / borken hearted" the fact its lesser known has kept the price down a bit. mp3 available on request plays very well for grade. I included it on the first or second deep soul swap so anybody with that CD can comment on how they think it sounds. Crackle is moreprominent on intro but clears up a lot through the rest of the track. If you can't afford 800GBO for a record this could be your chance................. by PM please if interested.
  23. thnaks chalky I have this problem with a lot of youtube links its a bit annoying.
  24. a realy nice griity 60s track i've never heard out but that is known by collectors is david dee "every loving man" time I think this has all the ingredients to be a popular all nighter record. pretty hard to find as well.

I would realy enjoy this kind of set with peaks and troughs. some narrow minded people believe it has to be uptempo all the time.....
