  2. now SOLD thanks for looking.
  3. Jan Foreman "your last chance" Meadowbrook Ex 70GBP delivered rare blue eyed detroit record payment by paypal gift is preferred methid by PM please if interested regards, dylan
  4. Kenny Lynch "movin away" HMV classic british label beat ballad ender. strong vg+ condition Very light crackle on intro nothing serious then plays great. Centre is still intact and labels clean. 35GBP delivered payment by paypal gift is preferred by PM please if interested thanks, dylan
  5. just picked up a superb version of the homer banks song "hooked by love" done by lloyd hendricks. Spelt loyd on this release. its an uptempo gritty version and presses all the right buttons for me, don';t think i've ever heard it mentiond on forums or played by a DJ...... i'm not claiming it as a new discovery as I know its known by collectors but its certainly worthy of some plays and would be unknown to a lot of people. without wanting to sound rude we realy don;'t want to be waiting for DJs to play records like "one track mind" you need to be looking for them before they get played by DJs .... otherwise we would all just be trying to find the same records played by the few very top DJs and thats not right.
  6. the joyce jones "help me change my mind" not a direct cover but an answer song.
  7. I'd be very interested to know if anybody has anything decent in a soul pack in the last say 5 or 10 years. I don't mean a good cheap record that is common I mean something that has gone on to end up being quite obscure and / or valuable. I wouldn';t buy a soul pack in 2011 but thats just me.
  8. any interest. regular $150 seller on ebay so a bit cheaper here.
  9. mine was an issue that went for 125. I know the issue is rarer but too most people who just want the record I doubt they would pay a premium just to get it on issue. his 45 on shout is fantastic and deserves to be regarded as highly as this one.
  10. I only got `125 for this record I don't think it would sell for much more these days.
  11. lee fields tyras song / you're my weakness A&T solid vg+ plays great couple of light crackles on intro to deep flip side. 80GBP delivered paypal gift preferred by PM if interested

  13. its tony hymes on azibul. Possibly / probably same personits a much slower stripped down version ? moerer had at least a couple up on ebay for auction in last couple of years. The 2 I saw were both used records not deadstock.
  14. 4 or 5 hours of funk barrage does make my head spin but an hour of it I realy enjoy. its all about mixing it up IMO. variety is the spice of life. keeps the night interesting.
  15. now SOLD thanka for all the interest wish I had 10 copies for everybody that asked
  16. that seems very high ? I would of thought half that or even less ?
  17. pt2 plays pretty good with just a couple of minor distratcions pt1 plays weaker. Different people have different views on what is OK and what isn't hence why i'm much happier letting the buyer decide in this case from full mp3s. I think its worth the price i'm asking a M- copy must be in excess of 200GBP by now ?
  18. copy available but not in the best of shape. If interested PM me for full mp3 of both sides taken from actual record. Its in the suitable for Dj'ing category. i'd rather people judge by the sound rather than a grade I give on the internet in this case. looking at 90GBP delivered. Flip side which is predominantly an instrumental plays the strongest but I actually prefer this side over the vocal as it builds up a ncie groove and the vocals kick in for the crescendo at the end. seems a lot rarer than walk with a groove. dylan
  19. thanks zane looking forward to listening
  20. the bar opposite paul smiths was called jallins for a while is this the same place ? downstairs in the basement. I never knew these 60s nighers existed in nottingham they seem to have been missed out most of the books written about thew era or certainly just skimmed over. most attention went to the scene in london and twisted wheeel in manchester in what i've read. great stuff. Woudl be brilliant if somphotos exist.

I remember all this as if it were yesterday. is it realy 9 years ago
  22. is this acrhived on internet to listen to again. I've just seen this 45 mins to late
  23. thats a ncie double sider above. But I much prefer "baby I need you / i'm thru with you" which I also think is much harder than current sales prices suggest. IMO his rarest record by a long way has to be "my love is gone" on neal but there will be a few in Japan dave i'm sure.
  24. this is a guess but I think there is a cody black is on ram rock ?
