I can't believe people would stoop so low as to try and get sellers to end early........

its not so much the value of 1 item I think i'm now waiting on 6 packages.... no mega money things individually but the total added up would be a bit. the jades on poncello arrived today and it was a very good price.

i'm 110% certain these records are posted they are just taking too long

how long are people waiting for 45s from the states. the post here seems to be realy slow just now. got one that was posted 21/11 in USA that still isn't with me. anybody got any longer than that ?

I had something very similar to this happen to me probably about 4 weeks ago now. I collected the bobby / neal kimble 45s as I don't think he made a bad one but the fat fish release "working out your bag" always eluded me. anyway finally got one off ebay for 10 bucks and I was the only bidder. I expected at least some other bids but luck was on my side. not been quite so lucky since though been getting outbid on practically everything.

and you know once you finally get a copy that 2 days later another will appear much cheaper.

marcus daniel "drill for your love" monkey town a strong vg copy has some very light crackle in places but still a very enjoyable copy. Vinyl retains most of its gloss just a few light marks. 40GBP delivered. lots of potential for this great record especially in the smaller rooms and more open minded venues then the price will be double or treble this by PM please if interested.

you can send me a PM if you want 6 months without a copy on ebay isn't all that long in the scheme of things....... one will turn up just make sure you don't try and get it too cheap with a low bid. If you realy want it then bid accordingly.

To be honest there is so much stuff listed on here I wouldn't even know if things I have listed for sale have been on otger lists or not in a similar time frame. and its pretty common to see one copy of a record doing well on ebay bringing out another or even a few more.

and "danger" is a brilliant deep soul record.

I get the username of a private ebay member if they have won the auction but unless i'm missing a trick its not much use as you can't do anything with that info............. it just confirmed to me that there is one guy winning quite a few of the more desireable things I have bid on.

I am not sure you are right here...... I bid 150 bucks on one that sold for over 250 and it showed me the winner. So I must have been 3rd at best possibly even lower in the rankings.

on the text in the auction this was described as an unissued track so prehaps one of only a very few copies out there. Or even the only copy ? I had a listen to it but not realy my style. Even if it was my style it would have been too expensive for me

so are there also varying degrees of skimming or is it simply skimmed or not skimmed. I had one record that was very obviously skimmed and sounded realy dull. Is it also possible to lightly skim a record and not loose much sound quality ?
