records usually go up in valuer after I sell them (i'm having a lot of trouble with the smiley faces don't go where you put them they move to the start of the sentance ??)

its a good one alright somebody must want it. I've got an expensive car repair I need to pay off this would just be the tip of the iceberg.

at least I got it back for a good price so there was no harm done. It was a 45 I picked up before I realy started getting into deep soul so I boguht and sold it for the northern side. I then heard the deep side and thought oh god i've sold that

yes well done rich forced a few of us lazy arses to get involved:hatsoff2: will just about have worked my way throught these 22 CDs by this time next year and be ready to do it all again.

took me a long time to find a copy of this but when I did finally get hold of it the price was somemthing like $4 so well worth the wait.

that chain of fools is less crackly than the copy you will be getting back on my CD so you won't need to upload my copy. so far thats the only track i've received on a CD that was already included on mine.

I don't like rules yes this is certainly looking like a great swap.

sneaked on a couple of mid to uptempo tracks in my selection. only managed to work through Mikes so far as it arrived first great selection. Plenty of tracks I didn't previously know. somewhere in the middle was a cracking female track with piano backing. Lightened the mood well after a heavy blues / guitar influenced portion.

I like what Ian did scratching his name in the deadwax. Tempted to do that myself.....

all tracklists are printed and 1/2 CDs now burnt. should be posting these out tues or wed next week. looking forward to hearing the selections and discovering some new tracks:thumbsup:.

stuff thats not in ref-o-soul sounds a great idea in theory but in practice I think it would be a nightmare. Time available to compile the CD is the biggest issue i'd have with this suggestion. I don't mind hearing things that are well known mixed in with the lesser known things. It might remind me just how good certain tracks actually are after hearing them again for the first time in a while. just as a test I'll run through the mp3s i've recorded so far and see just how mnay are on ref-o-soul. It might be quite embarrasing
